Nature and Wildlife on the Great Tropical Drive

Did you know that the Wet Tropics is home to a third of Australia's 315 mammal species - 13 of these species are found nowhere else in the world? Or the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is home to 1,500 different species of fish? Download the Great Tropical Drive Nature Pod Guide and find out!

The Great Tropical Drive winds its way through some of the world's most unique eco systems including The Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.

In the Nature Pod Guide we take you to six locations on the Great Green Way Trail and talk to local experts about some of the most interesting creatures that call this part of the world home; including dugong, koala, wallaby, cassowary and even the infamous crocodile.

You can download single tracks for your audio player (MP3 format) or watch video on screen. Watch them on your computer or load them onto your media player and listen to the commentary while you cruise along the Great Tropical Drive.
